We receive emails and phone calls like the one below all of the time from other photographers. We have decided that we would like to start sharing them on our Blog. For the longest time, we have felt that this was bragging, but we cannot hold back any longer. That is what blogging is all about, right? We will keep all names anonymous for privacy reasons.
"Why I called: I've been studying what the best in the industry are doing. I was cruising through the space coast membership list of photographers just looking at who is out there and what they are doing. I am stuck in the beginnings of a new business. How do I market? Am I good enough? Do I take out ads? There is so much to learn. I am looking at my competition and looking for someone to work with, apprentice under. When I came across your entry I got stuck. You were one of the few who were applying the principles that I have been studying and the ENERGY that is coming out of your webpage is infectious. So many images, awards, high profile shoots. WOW. Your imagery lives up to your name, your eye, lighting, brides and locations are what I am looking for. So, I haven't looked any further yet. "
"I'm interested in becoming a photographer for your company. I have been reading your blog and website for a long time and am very impressed with everything that I have seen. Your style is exactly what I have been trying to learn and not the cookie-cutter style pictures that all the other photographers cannot seem to get away from. Please let me know if you are interested in hiring! I will be attaching my resume below."
"I was given your company's name by one of my college professors that you would be the photography studio to apprentice with. They had informed me that you have a style unlike any other in the industry. I would be honored to attend one of your classes as well as some of your weddings as a second shooter. Photography has always been a big part of my life and I work with all Nikon equipment. I anxiously look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you for your time."
